We do not test on animals
Instituto Español is firmly committed to a policy that excludes testing its products and ingredients on animals or hiring third parties to carry out these tests. Nor do we buy any raw material that is tested on animals.

The correct handling of waste is crucial to preserving the environment and enhancing social development. At Instituto Español, we control and analyze all waste. We channel and reintegrate all recyclable waste into the production cycle. One of the daily challenges for Instituto Español is to reduce waste based on the new concept of zero waste.

We do not use aerosols
Instituto Español deodorants do not come as aerosols, nor do they contain alcohol, making them effective and kind to skin. Aerosols come in cans that are partially filled with a product concentrate. They are then pressurized with propellant gas, such as butane, nitrous oxide or carbon dioxide. These gases do not disappear; instead, they end up damaging the ozone layer.

All packaging we use is easy to recycle. In this way, Instituto Español helps prevent the depletion of natural resources and support recycling plants. All businesses should be conscious about environmental changes and with socio-economic resources, put all rubbish and waste into a new life cycle.

This is why we not only abstain from testing on animals, we also do not dump waste so as not to harm the environment. Let's not forget though that people are part of the environment, too. That is why 90% of our staff are from the very place where we are located, Hinojos. We try to involve as little commuting for our workers as possible, which is why we always hire from neighboring towns.
